This week in year 6 we have been planning to write a persuasive advert for the brand new Victorian invention of the Penny Farthing! To top the week off we organized for the children to have the opportunity to see a real Penny Farthing bike and ask the all important questions like:

• ” How do you ride it?”
• ” How does it work?”
• “How fast can you travel?”
• “How do you slow down?”
• and even ” How much does one cost?”
