Our school is a large, friendly school with a strong team spirit where we demonstrate our school values every day – Pride, Resilience, Courage, Respect and Teamwork. We are known as Team H.P.S.

You can also send us a message online, or message your child’s teacher directly using digital learning app Seesaw.
Our school demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people by providing a safe working ethos through a range of rigorous policies and procedures. We expect all staff to share this commitment.
Direct from the classroom
We use the Seesaw digital platform
Seesaw empowers students to document what they are learning at school and allows parents to see what’s happening in school, as it happens, and comment on what they see.
Download the Seesaw Family app on your device or login using a browser.
Live Attendance Data
Attendance is incredibly important to the education of our children and makes a big difference to a child’s ability to do well at school.
Studies show that an attendance level of less than 96% will have an impact on a child’s ability to be successful at school. Below 90% and things start getting really hard.
Each week our classes compete to have the highest attendance percentage, with the highest scoring class at the end of term getting an extra special treat.
Whole-school attendance percentage for the year and the previous week:
100-96% – Best chance of success
95-91% – Less chance of success
Below 90% – Makes it hard to progress
