STEM Week

This week at Huntingdon Primary School has been our STEM week focusing on ‘our diverse planet’ and in Year Two we have really enjoyed our learning, demonstrating some excellent teamwork and resilience!

To link with our current theme ‘Carnival of the Animals’ we have explored a range of different animal related topics. In our English lessons we explored Sir David Attenborough, all of his famous work and created a timeline of his life. As part of our foundation subject learning we thought about how and why an animal camouflages and used our collage and drawing skills to create a camouflage picture. In Science we thought about micro-habitats and planned and made our own bug hotels within a team.

We all have worked extremely hard and have created some excellent learning outcomes!
