Pupil Premium Funding and Planned Budget Financial Year 2017-2018

Schools receive Pupil Premium  funding based on the numbers of pupils who are eligible for Free School Meals. This money is allocated to initiatives to ensure pupils reach their full potential, both academically and socially.

For the financial year 2017 – 2018 (April 17 to March 18) Huntingdon Primary School’s Pupil Premium funding allocation is £186,00. This funding will be used towards helping provide the following initiatives:

Breakfast Club

To help pupils start the day with a healthy meal.  This allows them to come into school alert and ready for learning.

The money has funded provisions and resources to the club.

Curriculum resources to support pupils, including specialized ICT software

Funding Places on School Trips

To ensure the children are able to participate and to give the children the opportunity to experience new and challenging activities.  A percentage of the cost of trips and visits was paid.
