This week Huntingdon Primary has been focusing on Anti-Bully Week; We have discussed bullying, how the school works to stamp out bullying, and we have taken part in a country-wide vote of how to stop bullying across all aspects of life. As you can see from the image, the pupils have taken to this subject with quite a passion! To commit to this, the pupils of Year 6 have taken part in a pledge to not bully and to help others who may be victims of bullying. With this pledge the pupils of Huntingdon Primary are devoted to being kind, caring, committed members of their community.
In English and DT Year 6 has been working very hard towards creating play-scripts in order to put a personal touch on well-known tales from 1001 Arabian Nights. We have researched and designed puppets. This coming week we will begin to create puppets in order to put on our own plays.
If your child has come home on Friday complaining of sore legs, ask him or her to tell you all about Circuit Training. We have been undertaking circuit training to understand resilience and health. Our Year 6 goal is to improve our strength and resilience over the next 5 weeks. Look at our progress on Seesaw to see the effort we have put towards our resilience and health!
