Dear Parents/ Carers
Please refer to the message below. This is to all school from the Service Director, Sarah Callaghan. Please be reassured, like all schools, we have systems in place to keep the children safe on site but will make sure that we follow any further advice received.

“We’re aware that several schools across Cambridgeshire have heard about a message that seems to be circulating on social media. We do not have any evidence to suggest that this is a genuine threat but have alerted the police as a precaution. We know schools have processes in place to keep children and young people safe, so our advice would be for schools to continue as normal and be extra vigilant.
See below a quote from our local police.
We will update in due course if any further information comes to light.”
Quote from Cambridgeshire Police:
We have been notified of an email which is being circulated to several schools, some of which are in Cambridgeshire. Cambridgeshire is not the only county to receive the message, and similar emails are being reported nationally over the past week.
At this time there is no specific identified threat to schools within our county however local schools have been advised to review their protocols and be vigilant.
