Back Wednesday!

Good Morning Everyone

Well, it is certainly a hot.  I hope that you are managing to stay safe and well.  We wanted to do what was right for families across these 2 days of excessive temperature; needs are different.  A great many parents and carers have taken the option of keeping their children at home, these absences have been authorised as ‘other circumstances’.  Other families needed or wished for their children to be in school, a small number of children in the building has benefited them.

Many of us are grateful to know that the temperature is set to cool overnight.  As you will be aware, tomorrow, Wednesday 20 July is the last day of the school year for children.  We would wish for all children to return for their final day to enjoy the Head’s Award assemblies and say ‘goodbye’ to their teachers and friends.  As the extreme heat will have subsided, I will not be able to authorise absence tomorrow, other than in the usual circumstances.

We look forward to seeing the children tomorrow.

Many thanks

Elaine Lynch
