Year 2 have had a great first few weeks back. We are really enjoying learning all about our new topic ‘Carnival of the Animals’ and have already learnt some amazing facts about animals. In English we have been sharing the story ‘Meerkat mail’ and writing our own postcards based on the story. In science we have been exploring what animals eat, thinking about carnivores, omnivores and herbivores. In P.E we have been enjoying thinking about how animals move and representing this using our own movements.
We are looking forward to learning about Jane Goodall next week!
