A large chunk of school funding for the year is based on how many children eat a school lunch on Thursday the 6th. The government counts how many lunches we serve on this day and gives us an amount of money based on that number. It’s a crazy way to decide school funding, but that’s how it is! This funding goes directly to maintain resources and a good quality of education for your children.
