Citizens Advice

Is based in Pathfinder House. It offers free confidential advice on housing, benefits, work issues, legal and debt concerns and can be accessed online, over the phone or face to face. Contact them on 0808 278 7807 or via their website for an appointment.

Warm Spaces

Have been set up and are open to all in and around Huntingdon:

  • Huntingdon Methodist Church
    Fridays from 12 – 3pm, soup and roll, light refreshments, table games, DVDs, magazines;
    Fridays from 3 – 5.30pm, light refreshments and toast available, games, toys and activities – families welcome.
  • Huntingdon Library and One Leisure are also accessible as Warm Spaces. Check opening times.

The Oxmoor Community Fridge

Open Tuesdays 2-4pm at Thongsley Fields Primary School. The fridge redistributes food from supermarkets, shops and farms and is accessible to anyone who would like to use it.

Diamond Hampers

Can provide a free food hamper to those who need support with this and they also sell food and clothes at very cheap prices.

They run a “Rent a suit”, supporting people with returning to employment by giving them the opportunity to look smart. Please pop to their shop in Huntingdon town for more information.
