On Monday 6th March, the HPS B football team walked the short distance to Thonglsey Primary School for a friendly game.
The rain started to come down as soon as we arrived, yet that didn’t stop HPS racing into a 3-0 lead midway through the first half. Emeka, Skyler and Finley with the goals before a goal from nowhere from Thongsley. Emeka made it 4-1 at half time.
A cold and wet second half threw HPS with 3 more goals from Thongsley to level the score at 4-4. HPS didn’t give up despite the cold and wet weather and with 5 minutes to go, Emeka put HPS back in the lead making it 5-4.
A real spirited performance from HPS who secured their first ever victory! Well done HPS!
