Year 1 has had a super and exciting first full week back at school! Our Topic is called Hakuna Matata for this term and we have already started exploring this through our learning. In English we have done some writing about animals and looked at the book ‘Rumble in the Jungle.’ In DT we started looking at masks in The Lion King stage show for some inspiration too for our own designs and some of us made an African bracelet with sewing materials. What a busy week!
