Early Years, Y1 & Y6 Staying at home

For children in Early Years, Year 1 and Year six who are not returning to school home learning will continue via Seesaw, in a slightly changed form.

Here are some home learning timetables for each of the three year groups:

Home Learning for Y2, Y3, Y4 & Y5.

Now that our teachers are back in school teaching every day Home Learning is being delivered by our Home Learning Team rather than individual class teachers.

Here are the daily timetables for Y2,3,4&5 home learning:

As before, the majority of  communications will come via Seesaw where your children will be able to see the work set for them, send what they’ve done and get feedback from teachers. Sometimes the year groups will need to post content that isn’t very Seesaw friendly in it’s format (links to external websites for example, or videos over 5 minutes long), and they’ll do that here on the website.

Scroll down to see the latest postings for each year group and some home learning resources from around the web that you can use as much or as little as you like.

It’s possible you may be starting back at school soon. Many things are familiar, but some things have changed to keep us all safe. This video shows some of the main changes in school for those that are returning full time:

School is a lonely place without you…

We have a little message for the children. How many members of our staff do you recognise?

(When you press play, use the full screen button to make it large, then use the settings cog to set the video to HD for the best effect!)

Home Learning Resources

We’ve collected together links to online educational resources that are allowing free or reduced cost access for all home learners. From unlimited free audio books from Amazon, to learning packs by subject and educational games. We’ll add to this list as we find out about new quality resources.
