Applying for a place at Nursery
Children of working parents can qualify for 30 hours of free childcare. All 3 to 4 year olds in England can get 15 hours per week during term time from the term after your child turns 3 years old through to starting school. In certain circumstances children may be eligible for 15 hours after the term that they turn 2.
At Huntingdon Federation Nursery you can take this funding or pay for your child’s childcare with these session timings.
Huntingdon Federation Nursery takes children from 2 years old up until the age they reach school.
Entitlement and costs
Our charges per hour for September 2025 are £8.50 for 2 year olds, £7.00 for 3 & 4 year olds.

15 HOURS:
- All Mornings (9:00 – 12:00)
- All Afternoons (12:30 – 15:30)
- There will be a limited amount of 2.5 days: “Monday full day, Tuesday Full day and Wednesday Morning” or “Wednesday afternoon, Thursday Full day and Friday Full Day”.
30 HOURS:
- 5 Full Days (9:00 – 15:00).
