Our Home Learning

It has been another great week of home learning in Year 2! We are incredibly proud of the efforts you are putting in and would like to thank everyone that has posted their thoughts, learning and ideas on Seesaw this week.

The children have spent the week exploring persuasive writing in English. They created some fantastic posters about how to stay healthy and happy. We were so impressed with the many wonderful ideas shared and their excellent illustrations! The children also created their own leaflets about HPS and included some super information and pictures! In maths we have been exploring time and how we measure time. The children have been exploring seconds, minutes and hours and have been carrying out some investigations around this. For our project work this week we have been thinking about how the trees and their leaves change during the four seasons. Our challenge was to get creative and use an art skill of our choice to show how the trees change. We have seen some truly stunning versions and representations and it is clear the children have thought carefully about each season and how to make their final piece!

We have had so much to be proud of this week and we look forward to seeing your posts each day. We miss you all and cannot wait until we can be back together. Until then, stay safe and keep smiling!
