Pupil Premium 14/15
For the academic year, the school has received £187,000 in Pupil Premium funding.
This money is being used towards helping provide the initiatives listed below, with the shortfall being added from the general budget.

Breakfast Club £4,000 | To help pupils start the day with a healthy meal. This allows them to come into school alert and ready for learning.The money has funded provisions and staffing of the club. |
Additional Teaching – to close the gap £50,000 (teacher) £68,000 (TA) | Extra lessons. Group and individual support. Inclusion leadership. |
Inclusion Workers £40,000 | To support pupils through all different aspects of life and to teach social skills and self-esteem. These staff members also support families. |
Family Support Worker £23,000 | To support pupils through all different aspects of life and to teach social skills and self-esteem. These staff members also support families. |
Funding Places on School Trips £5,000 | To ensure the children are able to participate and to give the children the opportunity to experience new and challenging activities. A percentage of the cost of trips and visits was paid. |
Resources for Vulnerable Pupils £8,000 | Curriculum items purchased. |
Play Therapy £5,000 | Small group work |
Funding Club Activities £2,000 | Subsidised places at school clubs allowing the children to participate and to give children the opportunities to experience new and challenging activities. |
Milk £1,500 | Provision of school milk every day |
Uniform £3,000 | Provision of 1 cardigan/jumper to all entitled children |
