New topic

New topic

We hope you all have a fantastic half term break and we are looking forward to seeing you all afterwards.

We are excited to begin our new topic of pirates! If you know any pirate facts, please bring them with you after half term and we will get ready to sail in our new pirate ship.

Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year

We have been very busy this week, celebrating Chinese New Year as well as thinking about safer internet day. We looked at the similarities and differences between English letters and Chinese letters, and then wrote our names using Chinese letters! We wonder if you can spot which names are in the pictures! We also pretended it was warm and sunny and used our folding skills to make some fans.

The Three Little Pigs

The Three Little Pigs

We have enjoyed learning about ‘The Three Little Pigs’ this week. We have been learning about speech bubbles and retelling the story. We got busy building our own houses, ready for our science experiment on Tuesday! We can’t wait to find out which materials will fall down when we huff and puff..

Early Years work

Early Years work

In Early years they have been learning the 3 Billy Goats Gruff and telling the story using sentence snakes (check out the picture of some great sentence snake work!). In Maths they have been learning about positional language using the trolls bridge.
