We have been learning all about mini beasts this week! Our bug hotel is filling up and we have found lots of them outside on our mini beast hunts. We have been writing clues and using adjectives to describe our favourite mini beasts to our friends.
This week Early Years have been reading the story “The Rainbow Fish” and thinking about what makes each of us special and how we can be good friends. In maths, we have been investigating time and making “o’ clock”. We’ve learned that there are 60 seconds in a minute and have spent some time investigating how many jumps, hops and claps we can do in 1 minute!
Next Wednesday is our parents open evening for new Early Years parents. Come and meet your child’s teacher, find out how we do things at HPS and ask any questions you might have.
Wednesday 12th June @ 7PM – This open evening is intended for the parents, not the children. We look forward to welcoming you to Team HPS!
We had a fantastic day in the sun at Sacrewell Farm yesterday. We enjoyed a tractor ride, a visit to the mill and a small animal experience where we go to meet a guinea pig, rabbit and even a duckling! There were also lots of goats, sheep, chickens, pigs and horses to see.
Thank you for your support which enabled the trip to go ahead.
