Just a reminder that all Early Years children will have PE on a Monday morning from this week on wards. Please can children bring a named PE kit consisting of a plain white t-shirt and black shorts. No earrings or other jewellery please.
On Monday we came into school to find a mystery suitcase. After examining the clues very carefully, we realised the suitcase belonged to the witch from ‘Room on the Broom’. All week we’ve been busy making potions to help her fix her broom, writing down ingredients and measuring out different capacities.
This week we have taken home our first reading books. We are lucky enough to have brand new books and we know it is very important to look after these. We can’t wait to read these with our grown ups at home!
Books are changed every Wednesday, so make sure to bring reading books and book bags in to school on this day.
Don’t forget that we’re holding a Maths session for Early Years’ parents tomorrow afternoon at 2:30. The aim of the session is to demonstrate how Maths is taught in Early Years so you can support your children at home.
We hope to see you all then.
