Summer Term News

by | Jun 8, 2021

Dear Parents/ Carers

Life in school remains a little different due to the pandemic but we are looking forward to enjoying the last part of this school year with the children.

As the children start back to school after the half term holiday, we are mindful that the steps we have taken to try to prevent the spread of Covid must remain in place.  This includes:

  • The social distancing precautions; the children will continue to work in their year group bubbles when inside.
  • Continuing with the additional cleaning and hygiene practices.
  • Asking parents to continue to be cautious and request a Covid test should their children knowingly come into contact with anyone who is infected.

Online Parents’ Evening Appointments

Later this week parents will receive an invitation to join an online meeting with their teacher and children.  This follows the same pattern as the meetings we ran in March which were very successful.

End of year reports

The children and teachers have worked together to write their reports.  These are now being finalised to be sent home at the end of June.

Jump across day

During the latter part of this half term, we will be organising for the children to meet their teachers for next year, parents will receive this information in July.

Summer Term events

We are not yet in a position to invite large groups of visitors into school but we will be running the usual summer term events such as Sports Day for the children.

Yours sincerely,

Elaine Lynch
Headteacher
