Dear parent/carer,
HPS is looking for new parent governors to help support the school – we would really like to hear from you if you feel this is something you could assist with.
Being a school governor is a challenging but hugely rewarding voluntary role. It will give you the chance to make a real difference to HPS pupils, give something back to your local community and use and develop your skills. You will also be joining the largest volunteer force in the country: there are over a quarter of a million volunteers governing state funded schools in England.
You don’t need to be an expert, what’s really important is that you have energy, enthusiasm, time and commitment to help provide children with the best possible education. We are looking for skilled volunteers from all backgrounds. You can make a difference to your community by becoming a school governor at HPS!
