All tickets for tonight’s show will be valid for tomorrow’s. The children would really love your support if you can make it during the day! If your’e not able to make the new time, please give your ticket to someone who might be able to come. A full house is the aim!
This half term in Year 4 we have started our new art unit of sewing. The children have spent two sessions now learning how to thread the needle and the different stitches. Soon they will be creating their initials and decorating their fabric with a border of different stitches.
We are very impressed with the sewing ability of our Year 4 children and have seen some fantastic work so far!
In Year 4 we have been learning all about the digestive system. During this unit we have found out all about the different teeth that we have and the different roles they have.
In our independent learning time we had the chance to look at a giant set of teeth to explore the different teeth, practise looking after them and answer questions about their roles.
We are enjoying our new Science unit and found it fascinating to learn about our digestive system and then how this is similar or different to animals.
In Year 4 we started our World Book Day by reading with our Year 1 buddies. We enjoyed sharing stories and listening to the year ones read. The Year 4 teachers are really proud of the team work Year 4 showed and how helpful they were to their Year 1 buddies.
