Seesaw

Viewing Seesaw as a Parent

Stay up to date with your child’s work in school, give feedback and communicate with your child’s teacher, all from your own device.

Seesaw is a simple way for teachers and students to record and share what’s happening in the classroom. Seesaw gives students a place to document their learning, be creative and learn how to use technology.

Each student gets their own journal and will add things to it, like photos, videos, drawings, or notes. When there are new Seesaw posts, families can be notified via app notification, email or SMS.

Parents are only notified about their own child’s work, and all data is safe and secure.

Creating your account

Download the Seesaw Family app from the app store.

To create a Seesaw Family account you’ll need an invite from school. This protects your child’s data and means only the right people can get access.

If you don’t have an invite, ask your child’s class teacher for one. We can send you an invite by e-mail (that’s option 1 in the video), or provide a printed invite that you scan with the Seesaw app (option 2 in the video).
