Dear Parents/Carers
Currently the biggest issue for schools across the county is staff getting ill; some local schools have reverted to closing whole year groups because of this. You will also have heard about the increased risk of transmission of the new strain of Covid-19, Omicron; this would mean an automatic 10 day isolation period for any contacts of the infected person.
We need to protect everyone to keep classes/ the school open. To help us, we are again asking parents/carers to wear a face covering when on the playground. Please do not approach a member of staff for a conversation without wearing a face covering.
Together we have worked hard to try to protect everyone, it would be such a shame for families to be required to isolate over the festive period due to illness or contact tracing.
