Other Charity Work:

As well as our regular year group organised charity drives, we also sometimes hold special charity fundraisers for specific issues, sometimes stretching over a longer time frame. Read about them below:

Our 2025 Giving to Others Christmas Appeal was in partnership with two incredibly deserving local charities. Across the Federation, we collected food donations that were made up into hampers and distributed to those families who are most in need.

For a 5th year we partnered with Diamond Hampers www.diamondhampers.org. Over the past five years, their stores have become vital community resources. The children were involved in sorting the food and helping us to deliver the donations to The Pantry in Huntingdon, a shop and hub, where they build and distribute food aid to people in need across the county.

We had the pleasure of walking Year 5 and 6 into town to deliver some of the food donations that were very gratefully received by Diamond Hampers volunteers at The Pantry.

Huntingdon Community Action Project (HCAP) is a charity that focuses on working with local families to develop activities to support those most in need. Their 100 Christmas Hamper Project has been running for over 15 years. This ensures the most vulnerable in our community receives a Large Family Christmas Hamper, which includes fresh fruit and vegetables, each child is given a specially wrapped present.

A group of our School Ambassadors delivered, sorted and packed donations for hampers with the Huntingdon Community Action Project at the Conygear Centre.

The items have been kindly donated by the families of the children, and they were very proud to make their delivery.

With your support and donations, we have made a difference to those in need within our community. Thank you.
