We’ve been thinking about equalities at HPS and have come up with some objectives to help us continually improve:
Equalities Objectives
To continually consider how the school ensures equality of opportunities for all its pupils.
To increase the extent to which all pupils, including those with protected characteristics as defined by the Equalities Act, feel valued and confident and as a result more likely to achieve their potential.
To increase staff,s understanding of equality and its implications on a day to day basis and in this way reduce inequalities in attainment throughout the school, particularly in relation to protected characteristics.
To reduce the incidence of prejudice related bullying.
