Lego League Champions!

by | Mar 25, 2024

Congratulations to our Lego League Team, Sensory Overload, who recently competed at the Peterborough Regional Finals of the 2024 Lego League.

Huntingdon Primary won the award for the highest points of any of the teams in the Robot Game portion of the competition and ended up coming away with the overall Champions trophy too, as well as a Team Coach award! This means our team is off to the UK National Finals in Harrogate in April to compete against the other Regional Finalist Champions from around the country.

What is Lego League?

Friendly competition is at the heart of Lego League, as teams of students ages 9-16 engage in research, problem-solving, coding and engineering – building and programming a LEGO robot that navigates the missions of a robot game. As part of Challenge, teams also participate in a research project to identify and solve a relevant real-world problem.

Good luck in Harrogate!
