It’s Children’s Mental Health Week this week!
No matter where you are in the UK, we hope that you are able to spend this week connecting with those around you and in your community.
To mark the start of the week, The Princess of Wales, Patron of Place2Be, met with children at St John’s CE Primary School in Bethnal Green to discuss the importance of supporting children’s mental health, and connecting with others. In an exclusive video released today, which you can watch below, The Princess takes part in creative activities with children.
- New figures, released ahead of Children’s Mental Health Week, reveal that nearly 78% of young people supported by Place2Be have experienced anxiety in social situations. It emphasizes the need for our week in schools and stressing the importance of wellbeing in children and young people throughout our broader community.
