Sport Grant 17/18
The government allocate extra funding to schools in the form of Sports Grant Funding. This money is designed to improve the delivery and quality of physical education provisions within primary schools.
For the academic year 2017/18 Huntingdon Primary School’s Sport Grant Funding was £20,150.
This money was used towards helping provide specialised coaching sessions as part of PE lessons and to provide necessary equipment.

We have built strong partnerships with St Neots Learning & Sports Academy and Huntingdon Gymnastics Club. In addition to providing Cirriculum PE Lessons, an Apprentice from St Neots Learning & Sports Academy worked in school September 2017 to April 2018.
The spending enables pupils to take part in a wide variety of sporting activities, during the academic year the pupils take part in 15 sporting activities. In addition, we provide 7 extra-curricular sports clubs.
